With 11 years teaching experience, Firefly is now running exclusive CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
opportunities. Due to the recent influx of TV dance programs, breakdance is more popular and in demand than ever
before! Apart from all the obvious health and fitness benefits, it's a great way to engage boys in dance, as well as
girls. These training days are engaging and fun, covering different aspects of teaching breakdance in schools,
including being a self employed dance practitioner. There are two types of days, 'General' days and 'Practical' days:
General days:
These days will provide a platform for networking and meeting other dancers, teachers and aspiring dance
practitioners. So if you are thinking of teaching breakdance in schools, or have taught some already but need more
advice, these days are ideal for you! The first half of this session will be lecture and discussions, the second half
practical.
These days are solely practical days. You will be learning moves and how to teach them, also creative concepts that
you will be able to use in your teaching. Participants ideally need some basic breakdance experience.
Dates coming up:

Moves suitable for Secondary Schools: Saturday 13th March 2010
